From September 24 to September 28, 2024, we welcomed students from Can Tho University (CTU), Vietnam — a partner in our joint research initiatives — to Japan for a five-day internship program. Under the theme, “Exploring TAKESHO and Japanese Food Processing in 5 Days,” the students participated in factory tours, gained insights into our “Science of Palatability” initiatives, and experienced sensory evaluation activities.

Furthermore, on September 26 and 27, Japanese university students joined the program. Together with TAKESHO employees, the Japanese and Vietnamese students were divided into two groups, where they collaborated and engaged in group discussions conducted entirely in English.
