Signing of a New MOU for Collaborative Research with Can Tho University (Vietnam)

On March 23, 2023, our company welcomed Rector Toan, Vice Rector Hai, and Deputy Director of the Department of International Relations Nhan from Can Tho University (Vietnam, hereinafter referred to as CTU), with whom we have been engaged in collaborative research efforts. Together, we signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), which will initiate new joint research focused on the evaluation and analysis of food based on our initiative for the “Science of Palatability.”

 

This new collaborative research will be launched through a three-party partnership among TAKESHO FOOD & INGREDIENTS (Japan), TAKESHO FOOD VIETNAM (Vietnam), and CTU (Vietnam).

Through this collaborative research, which aims to deepen scientific understanding of how “deliciousness” is perceived in Japan and Vietnam, while also advancing food development techniques and improving quality, we aspire to contribute to the development of the food industry and human resources in the Mekong Delta region.
