On October 3, 2024, a signing ceremony was held for the Letter of Intent (LOI) regarding a tripartite partnership among Can Tho University (Vietnam), Niigata University, and TAKESHO. The ceremony was attended by Rector Tinh of Can Tho University, President Ushiki of Niigata University, and our company’s President Tanaka.
This LOI marks the collaboration between Niigata University, which is spearheading the “Rice – Co-Creation Innovation Project,” and Can Tho University along with TAKESHO. The tripartite cooperation aims to contribute to the sustainable development of agriculture as a core focus in both Niigata Prefecture and the Mekong Delta region of Vietnam.
On the same day, Rector Tinh of Can Tho University and three other representatives, along with Professor Nishiumi, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture at Niigata University, were welcomed to our headquarters in Kita-ku, Niigata City. During the visit, one of our employees – a graduate of Can Tho University – introduced our company’s profile. Additionally, a presentation was given about our initiatives for the “Science of Palatability” followed by a fruitful discussion.
Our Company is committed to advancing this project by leveraging the trust-based relationships with Can Tho University and Niigata University, as well as utilizing our “Science of Palatability.”
